What exactly am I buying?

Markdown files. Agent persona definitions (.md), skill definitions (.md), CLAUDE.md templates (.md), and workflow configurations. No software to install, no dependencies. You drop these files into your project and your AI coding agent (Claude, Cursor, etc.) reads them automatically.

Does this work with tools other than Claude?

The agent and skill definitions are written as Markdown system prompts. They work with any AI coding tool that reads project-level instructions: Claude Code (CLAUDE.md), Cursor (.cursorrules), Windsurf, Aider, and others. The CLAUDE.md format is specific to Claude Code, but the content adapts to any tool.

Why not a subscription?

Because configuration files don't have recurring costs. We believe in selling tools, not renting access. Buy once, use forever. When we add new agents or skills, existing Pro and Team customers get them free.

What are "collaboration workflows"?

Pre-defined pipelines that chain agents together for common tasks. For example, the "New Product Evaluation" workflow runs: research-thompson (market analysis) then ceo-bezos (strategic evaluation) then critic-munger (risk check) then product-norman (usability) then cto-vogels (technical feasibility) then cfo-campbell (financial viability). Each agent hands off to the next.

Can I customize the agents?

Absolutely. They're Markdown files. Edit them, combine them, create new ones. The skill-creator skill even helps you build custom skills following the same patterns.

Is this just fancy prompt engineering?

Yes, but "just" undersells it. The difference between a generic AI response and an expert-level one often comes down to the system prompt. These aren't weekend experiments. They're configurations extracted from a real company that runs entirely on AI agents. Every principle, framework, and output format has been tested in production.
